The "Ultimate" car show of the year.

Towards the end of the year there isn't much going on for shows or meets for that matter as we either put our cars away or for some swapping over to winter wheels getting ready for Xmas and making a plan for our cars for next year.

There is one show though that finishes off the year, does so in style and that is Ultimate Stance. Taking place at the Telford International Centre for the last few years it has fast become arguably the best modified/stance show in the UK.

Having attended the previous year and being blown away by how great it was, there was no way I would miss this year's for anything. What I like the most about the event is the organising by the people behind this and they have got everything right with the entertainment, cars, trade stands etc. And because of the location if you do decide to make a weekend out of it, the hotels are within a short walking distance as well as a shopping centre with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.

With large halls in the venue there was plenty of stunning machinery to see and there were a lot of different cars inside from last year so whether it is your first time or you attented before there is no shortgage of cars to admire.

Bek's bagged E39 540i looked impressive on a set of classic BBS RS's.

Lala Miah's E24 635 a.k.a Jaws.

This year there a few additions one of which was arcade machines put up in the hall which were a great draw and brought back the nostalgic years of growing up on classics like Daytona USA, Pac Man, Defender etc. Best of all they didn't require any coins and were free to play.

Outside there were low riders kitted out with hyrdaulic suspension showing off their bouncing abilities. If you have never seen it in real life its a must see as you will witness a car do something that is normally impossible.

There were some impressive cars outside parked in the club stands and show & shine areas.

Last years show was mighty impressive and this year was no different. There is no way you could fault it whatsoever. There are so many car shows each year but there is nothing that right now can top Ultimate Stance for cars, entertainment, trade stands or atmosphere. If you are sat here reading this and never been, then look out for 2017 dates and make a weekend out of it.

Westside VW 2016, a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

As we know the spring/summer season is a hustle and bustle of shows and its towards the end we start to wind down so to speak until next year and start it all over again. So with that in mind what better way to wind down with a day at the Chalfont St Peter's cricket club with a show hosted by Westside VW.

The guys behind Westside have been around for the best part of 20+ years and started out as a group of like minded people who share that passion for everything VW. In recent years the show has opened up to other German marques and with a huge array of VW's on display you also have some variety with BMW's Audi's Mercs etc. Its a win win for all who turn up.

The show is very much a relaxed affair which we like. There is no mega early start which is a bonus speically if you aren't far away from the venue and the grounds are brilliant for a car show. As with all outside shows its always down to the weather and there was no dissapointment at all as you will see from the pictures below.

Car Audio Security's BMW M4 on Air suspension.

Pro Fusion Customs RWB Porsche. To some it can divide opinion with regards to the widebody and lairy styling but it is an epic machine. Having watched the video with the way Akira Nakai puts his stamp on the 911 and having seeing it in the flesh, you really do appreciate what has gone into it and was probably one of my favourites from the show.

As a whole this show is one to attend with decent food stalls and trade stands. I will be looking forward to coming next year and I recommend you do as well.
